<p>Ashwagandha, famous as the “Indian Ginseng“, is used in traditional ayurveda as rejuvenative tonic (Rasayana). It is known as an adaptogen, which improves the capacity to deal with stress and anxiety on the daily schedule. The plant named “winter cherry” is helpful to induce sleep and has calming properties. Ashwagandha is known as one of the best plants to balance Vata dosha and for that a recommended remedy in our hectic modern world. Its harmonizing properties on Vata and Kapha dosha and its ability to improve Agni on several levels in the body prove its usefulness for the cold season. Ashwagandha means translated “smell of a horse” and it is a reference to the unique smell of the herb but as well to its properties to improve vitality and as an aphrodisiac.</p>
<p>Our tincture is an extract made of certified organic herbs, water and 38% vol. organic alcohol. The low amount of alcohol makes it a soft and easily digestible extract. Alcohol is the most natural preservative for herbal active ingredients. The tincture is efficient and has a long duration, no additives and chemical substances are used for the production. It can be used externally and internally. Its recommended to use it diluted with a small amount of water for intake and for external use.
