Product information "EM Beginner Set"
With the EM-Beginner-Set you get everything you need to create your own EMa.
EMa stands for EM "activated" and can be produced by you by fermenting EM1® with sugar cane molasses. Like EM1®, EMa is used as a soil additive. With the production of EMa you can produce larger quantities of EM for your home and garden applications at low cost by your own efforts.
The EM starter set consists of:
1. EM1 original solution, 0.5 litre
2. organic sugar cane molasses, 1.0 litre
3. empty canister, 5.0 litres
4. EM ceramic pipes threaded to the chain
5. EM ceramic pipes loose
6. overhead spray bottle, 0,5 litre

EMa recipe:
Fill the canister halfway with lukewarm water.
Dissolve 3% sugar cane molasses in one litre of hot water completely. Pour this into the canister.
Add 3% EM1® and mix the digester contents thoroughly.
Fill the canister with warm water up to 5 litres. A temperature of 35 - 40°C should be reached.
Hang the EM-Pipe chain in the canister opening and screw the canister shut
Place the canister in a water bath with 35 - 40°C for 7 days (boiling device, aquarium heating rod in cool box, see film)
After 7 days measure the pH value, remove the pipe chain and close the canister tightly.
Your EMa is ready and successful if it has a pH value of below 3.6 and smells sweet and sour. White flakes on the EMa are yeasts and belong to a good EMa.
EMa will last longer if loose EM-ceramic pipes are put into the canister or filled into smaller bottles (also better for use) (1 pipe per liter EMa)
The finished EMa solution is diluted with water (standard 1:100) and applied in a spray bottle in the house and garden.
